Life at VJTI

 

How do you say in few words about “Life at VJTI”. Well I will give it a try.

 

IRS … I remember Series… This is what I thought I should start with my short IRS before I get into too many Detailed IRS (Kris see I coined two more type of IRS apart for your coined term “IR IRS”)  about “MY LIFE AT VJTI” and I can rather say “LIFE IS TOO SIMPLE” aaaha… I need to reframe this Quote by 2R’S of our Class. And I do it as
 “LIFE IS TOO SIMPLE, PROVIDED YOU WANT IT TO BE”

So here I go with Summarized version of my STAY at VJTI.

 

An Entrance examination form filled with half interest, test given with half interest and also half heartedly and went to check the results with 50-50 interest and without any expectations of getting in to it… and then WOW! Bang! I was zapped!!!

 

Got zapped, trapped and caught in the magic woven by the college, on the first day itself. From day one it all starts like this!!! Left right left right…. Soldier marching around the campus (Unfortunately without rifles)!! With Brigadier HOD Prof. Sane … oops Dr. S.S. Sane (with love from Jeetendra Mahajan) (My misconception about brigadier being HOD, which she was not) Scolding me for late reporting for the admission, Prof. Anala Pandit (My Favorite) and Prof. Nene (Will explain you Ur difficulties till you don’t understand them) . Meeting up the three important people of our class on the same day (Mr. Bhushan, Mr. Shamir, & Our Mr. Rahul … not the one “SMART HAI NA MAI WALA” but KAKA). What a coincidence 3 imp p’s of VJTI MCA Department and 3 imp p’s of MCA BATCH 2004-2007… How lucky was I. Rather that day if I would have been able to think like Great 2R’S then probably I would have quoted it “LIFE IS NOT SO SIMPLE”. But time changes everything.

 

The three years just flew by – shaping and changing me from confused young adolescence to confused adults. No, no, don’t get me wrong, I was never into full time study (just how many of us are, anyway).My 3 years were not about studies but they were full of fun, lot of parties, busy making friends, watching movies, trips, halla, masti, Birthday Bumps(you have UR Birthday or not that’s different part of story) and many more. After classes Mhatre’s chai shop or Canteen was our next destination. But I had a “COUPLE OF FRIENDS” (Like Sid’s, Natz, Koms, Shiva, Niti, and many more… sorry if I missed to list Somebody.. See them here) who brought about a healthy competition and because of them I was some how encouraged to do well in exams in fact Very WELL (According to me).I should not forget the teeny-weeny bit of study- rather group study where we could sit and chat, gossip and eat and device ways of passing the finals (if you know what I mean)!

 

 

VJTI opened a new world to me- even our parents were awed by our v-a-s-t knowledge and dedication right from dialogues such as “SATELLITE BANA RAHEY HO KYA” (I guess UD will never forget this) till my mom’s favorite “COLLEGE NE TULA DATAK GHETLE AHEY ASEY VATATEY, PAYING GUEST AHEY TU AHMCHYA SATHI”. It has also give me a opportunity to Nourish my skill in photography and Hidden Camera’s (Sorry if anybody was caught in my camera … dancing on some B rated Song or Running Behind me with Jhadu or Copying in Exam or Doing some Acts or discussing something which U shouldn’t have Discussed with me … U never know when my recorder or camera of Phone is on). I should thanks here to NOKIA for bringing out NOKIA 3230 and Sony Ericsson For K750i… and above all my Uncle who gifted me them.

 

How can I forget the word “JHANDU” which, what I am addressed by many of YOU, one more added to some of my previous token like “GANGA”, “FERARI”. I should thank to my Somaiya Friends for making me realize that I could also make a Dictionary of Slang Words and Paraphrase which I generally used like “DIMAG KO SHOT”, “MAAF”, “AUR BOL” (which irritates lot of you people) & “JHANDUGIRI” (I don’t know who coined up this term but most probably its either from Kutchi Chedda, Or Charsi Sagar or Natkhat UD or Kool Ruspsi or Kamina Siddharth… gali use karna padha sid’s yaha… bina us word ke tu accha nahi lagta… jaisey Padhai main Natz ke allava tera koi haat nahi pakad sakta waisey Masti kartey Waqt “KAMINEYGIRI” main tera koi haat kya ungli bhi nahi pakad sakta, or PAPU Prasad rather I should say BALAK Prasad thats what he show’s… don’t know about the reality or it may be from 2R’S or From Raja and his Praja or Sachin Romeo… Lot to Come… about Sachin...wait for ur turn..Sach or Last but not least  the Bureaucrats Hostilities).

But one thing I should agree no other stream could offer what VJTI gave us. Finally with lot of wit and humor and with smile, I am “tailor made” for the industry once I complete my course and come out to be winners. I am sure that we can perform very well in the T.V. Contest Big Boss. (All thanks to our Prof’s, College Staff with typical Government attitude, and my colleagues … do I need to mention their name…I guess Mr. Bhushan knows it Better than me… what say Mr. Bhushan).I think I have become materialistic, little selfish and indifferent toward people but definitely no doubt a professional Huh at last! (VJTI taught me this also). I believe in orientation ways of my seniors, it has made me a stronger person unlike my juniors, who shall never realize that I will have stories to tell to my grandsons.

 

Lastly this was a hooter for me starting with my IRS……Next will be following soon but before that…

“I believe in talking straight, mincing words is not my cup of tea. Don’t expect only goody goody (again 2R’S) stuff’s in coming up IRS. I am not an ideal person perhaps that’s the reason why many of u thinks twice before chopping up anything in front of me. I really don’t care about what anyone & society thinks about me after reading up my IRS which will be following up soon because I believe in doing and saying right things at right time even if I am cursed for it. At the end of every session, whether U understand me or not, but I m sure U will remember me as a part of Ur journey of Life and that what is important from my Perspective.”
